Like second mother, like adopted not quite daughter!
Celestia really does border on being Twilight's second mother, and I'm thankful Twilight's actual mother has gotten scenes of, you know, being a mother/family with Twilight.
Also, yeah. This one one of the most heartwarming scenes/episodes in the series, and a big reason why I came back to the series after ignoring it for several years.
I'd watched seasons 1 and 2, but the worse sides of the fanbase pushed me away.
